DAVID FRIEND CONCERT - DFC18
28th of July 2018 we are having a fundraising event for a wonderful kiwi man called Dr David Friend who does an incredible job of serving and caring for people who need it the most in Zambia. To raise that money and support we have gathered some of the phenomenal local musicians (boy do we have some variety planned!! details to follow) and asked them to perform and put on a wonderful evening for us to enjoy!!
There is as always food on offer to buy and I hear there may be some special baked goods on offer from our very own local bakery (more details to come also on that later). This is an opportunity for an evening out with friends and family, to enjoy some local food, music and fun and to also make an impact on some people who need it on the other side of the world.
So looking forward to seeing you there!! Would love for you to bring a friend (or even two!)
Giving Thanks Service + Fun Day!
Giving of Thanks Service is all about 'Giving Thanks' to our Lord, whether it is for the small things, you know - those things that we may over look or take for granted - daily thanks, or giving thanks for the big, happy, or hard, sad things in our lives; followed by a shared lunch and fun and games for all ages - even a BOUNCY CASTLE and FACE PAINTING! Doing Community together!

Mud Dogs
Mud Dogs is an action-packed exciting programme for boys in year 5-8. Leaders guide them in games like capture the flag, activities like model car building, and trips like visiting the police station. Most importantly, in all of the adventure the boys learn how God fits into their daily lives.
Mainly Music
Children under the age of 4 love music and most love to dance, particularly if their parents join in! This is the heart of Mainly Music at Crossroads Church.
We create a fun creative space where children are encouraged to sing and dance to fun rhymes and songs along with their parent/s and heaps of other kids their age. During this special time they also experience using instruments, scarves and a large parachute.
Children and adults are given morning tea and adults can be free to chat later while their little people play. Kids that come to Mainly Music can’t wait to come back next week!
If you have not been to a Mainly Music and would like to experience it firsthand, you are welcome to visit either of the sessions. We have one session at 9:30-10:15 and 10:15-11:00.

Who we Are
Switched on is a great opportunity for intermediate aged youth to socialise. We run fortnightly on Friday nights from 7:00 pm to 8:45 pm at Crossroads Church. Please enter via the back carpark on Cook Street.
If it's your first night, come and get a welcome pack from us when you arrive ... we'd love to see you.
