DAVID FRIEND CONCERT - DFC18
28th of July 2018 we are having a fundraising event for a wonderful kiwi man called Dr David Friend who does an incredible job of serving and caring for people who need it the most in Zambia. To raise that money and support we have gathered some of the phenomenal local musicians (boy do we have some variety planned!! details to follow) and asked them to perform and put on a wonderful evening for us to enjoy!!
There is as always food on offer to buy and I hear there may be some special baked goods on offer from our very own local bakery (more details to come also on that later). This is an opportunity for an evening out with friends and family, to enjoy some local food, music and fun and to also make an impact on some people who need it on the other side of the world.
So looking forward to seeing you there!! Would love for you to bring a friend (or even two!)
Word of Life Youth Reachout
An International Mission Trip with an Evangelism Focus
Youth Reachout is a 3 week mission trip overseas for youth aged 16 and over. The trip is split into two parts: The first week is training and equipping the team for evangelism with tools such as dramas and songs. The next 2 weeks are spent traveling around the country and telling locals at churches and schools about the gospel.
Not only are you spending time inputting into the local lives, but you yourself grow with personal input and electives from our team leaders, aimed for team members to grow themselves in God.
