DAVID FRIEND CONCERT - DFC18
28th of July 2018 we are having a fundraising event for a wonderful kiwi man called Dr David Friend who does an incredible job of serving and caring for people who need it the most in Zambia. To raise that money and support we have gathered some of the phenomenal local musicians (boy do we have some variety planned!! details to follow) and asked them to perform and put on a wonderful evening for us to enjoy!!
There is as always food on offer to buy and I hear there may be some special baked goods on offer from our very own local bakery (more details to come also on that later). This is an opportunity for an evening out with friends and family, to enjoy some local food, music and fun and to also make an impact on some people who need it on the other side of the world.
So looking forward to seeing you there!! Would love for you to bring a friend (or even two!)
Giving Thanks Service + Fun Day!
Giving of Thanks Service is all about 'Giving Thanks' to our Lord, whether it is for the small things, you know - those things that we may over look or take for granted - daily thanks, or giving thanks for the big, happy, or hard, sad things in our lives; followed by a shared lunch and fun and games for all ages - even a BOUNCY CASTLE and FACE PAINTING! Doing Community together!
ALPHA MARRIAGE COURSE
Whether you have been married a few months, a few years or a lot of years, all marriages need enrichment to continue to grow and become stronger.
For seven Thursday evenings, beginning on the 1st of June, we will be beginning the Alpha Marriage course, through our new ministry "Marriage Works".

Family Feeds
Family Feeds is a volunteer run, Christian organisation that operates in the Palmerston North Community. It’s a non-profit organisation born out of the idea that nutritious meals would help low-income families feed their children well. Children who are well nourished are happier, healthier, can learn well and achieve better educational outcomes.
What We Do
Each week our team produces recipes and ingredients to provide families with five well-balanced meals that are easy, healthy and are affordable. Our families pay $60 each week for five meals to feed a family of four, that’s $3 per person per meal.
Family Feeds is an initiative of Crossroads Church, Palmerston North. Families collect their Family Feeds Box each week from Crossroads Church and are invited to stay for a cup and of tea or coffee if they wish.
