In 2016 at our Parent Connect/Equip evenings we are going to be working through The Parenting Teenagers Course produced by Alpha. Nicky and Sila Lee present five sessions that make up the course. Their talks are interspersed with thoughts and feedback from parents and guardians who have completed the course, as well as street interviews with parents and teens from around the world.

This will run from 7.45-9.15pm and will provide the opportunity for discussion in couples and/or groups. There is a small cost of $10 which in return you will receive the workbook with highlights from the DVD and questions for you to think about at home (this will cover all the sessions for this year).

Curriculum includes:

1.       Keeping the end in mind

2.       Meeting our teenagers needs

3.       Setting boundaries

4.       Developing emotional health

5.       Helping them make good choices
