Birds Eye View of The Bible: Where it all Began

On Sunday, Colin suggested the first chapters of Genesis were more about who created life as we know it and where we fit in not creation than how God actually did it.

The chapters asked the basic questions of life we all ask from time to time.

Who are we?

Where have we come from?

How do we best live?

Where have gone wrong?

The rest of the Bible is the unfolding story of how God goes about putting things right, climaxing in the life, death and resurrection Jesus and culminating restoration and creation upon Christ's return.

The big question is whose understanding of life we live by: Our own? Media personalities? Or scripture - which offers a definitive explanation of the very thing.

Ultimately we where we in the great story and God working himself out all around us.
