Adult Ministries

Crossroads seeks to contribute to the community of Palmerston North as well as serve the people of God who call Crossroads home.  We have a variety of programmes and ministries, some that are age appropriate, some for men or women, and some for various sorts of needs that people have.

These all serve to build people up and encourage people in their faith in God where appropriate.  We trust you will find some ministry at Crossroads that will enrich your life.

Life Groups

Weekly

Crossroads Life Groups are small groups that meet in homes around the Manawatu throughout the week.

Life Groups are about helping  each other grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and that’s spiritual life. Life Groups achieve this in the following ways:

Opening up the Bible – God’s Word
Fostering godly relationships
Showing practical love and support
Sharing life together

Refresh is a cafe-style Bible Study meeting both the spiritual and social. The morning begins with a shared morning tea and  engaging teaching. Small table groups are given time to discuss the study and pray for each other and our community.

A creche is available for Little ones to enable Mums to study without distraction.

Crossroads Community Trust

The Crossroads Community Trust operates a number of farming related income generating projects, as well as applying for grant funding from various sources.

The Trust then financially supports well managed entities that meet the objectives of the Trust, namely to help fulfill and provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children, young people, the aged community and families.

To be independent, the Trust operates autonomously and is not involved in the management or operation of any of the entities that receive its financial assistance. However, through the various ministries of Crossroads, needs are often identified where the Community Trust can help.

To learn more about the Trust or volunteer, contact us.
